Parvin Arasteh has dedicated herself for the past 15 years to empowering Iranian women and helping Iranian students achieve their educational ambitions. This work was carried out within an informal structure until recently. In 2009 she established the P.
Arasteh Charity in Iran which provides funding and assistance to economically disadvantaged students to pursue their university education. Her extensive philanthropic activities have also included the establishment and construction of primary schools, high schools and departments of a number of institutions of higher learning.
